Damyanti Thakker qualified as a Solicitor in 1978 with Whitelock & Storr in Holborn where she remained until 1987 practising in Commercial and Residential Conveyancing and Family Law.
In 1987 she joined the Family Department of Eric P Hanney & Co (now known as Hanney Dawkins & Jones) in Pinner. In 1989 she established the firm Thakker & Co in Pinner, moving to the present premises in 1998 Since qualification she has practised in a number of areas of law, namely:- Commercial and Residential Conveyancing; Landlord & Tenant; Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning and Probate and Administration of Estate; Elderly Client Care and Family Law. However, she now predominantly does Family Law work.
She is a Resolution (formerly known as the Solicitors Family Law Association) accredited Family Law Specialist and is also on the Law Society Panel of Family Law Specialists.
